● For fractional CMOs and GTM consultants

The paid-media team behind your clients.

We run LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads and pipeline attribution for your clients, under your name or ours. You keep the strategy and the client relationship, and we run the ad accounts.

Why this exists
Fractional CMOs own the strategy and then need an operator to run the ad accounts. The usual choices are an agency staffed with juniors or a freelancer whose experience you can't check. We are two senior operators who work with B2B software companies, mainly on LinkedIn and Google, and we can be as visible or invisible on your client's calls as you want.
The two modes

Choose how visible we are to your client.

The work is the same in both; the commercial and brand setup differs. About half of our partners start on each.
Mode 01

Transparent intro.

10%
of first-year retainer, paid quarterly
You introduce us to the client and we sign the contract with them directly. You are credited as the person who brought the work in, and we never take the relationship away from you.
  • Client knows who we are from day one
  • We contract and invoice direct
  • You keep your strategic role and your retainer
  • Written no-poach clause in our agreement with you
  • Quarterly referral fee, transparent to the client
For CMOs who want clean handoffs
Mode 02

White-label.

15–20%
margin baked into your retainer
The client sees one bill and one team: yours. We run the ad accounts under your brand and join client calls as "our paid media lead", and you keep a 15–20% margin on top of what we charge you.
  • We use your email, your slide templates, your voice
  • You set the client-facing price; we quote you net
  • A joint Slack channel with you; the client isn't in it
  • The weekly written update goes to you
  • You keep all client data, CRM access, ad account ownership

How partnerships start

How a partnership starts.

Every partnership starts the same way, whichever mode you pick. We put a lot of time into the first two weeks, because the partnerships that last are the ones where nothing surprises anyone in month three.
Step 1
Frame

Your clients and your standards.

30-minute call. What your client base looks like, what "good" looks like on their paid accounts, where you've been burned before. We'll tell you on the call whether we're a fit.

Step 2
Agree

The mode, the margin and the no-poach clause.

You choose the mode; we write up the commercials, sign a mutual no-poach clause and agree how data and access are handled. Nothing is signed for a client yet.

Step 3
Test

One client, end to end.

You pick the first client and we run the 90-day rebuild, with weekly written updates to you (in mode 01, to the client). At day 90 we tell you plainly whether the partnership should grow.

Step 4
Scale

Or part ways cleanly.

If it worked, we make it formal. If it didn't, we leave the first engagement cleanly, with no claim on the client and no hard feelings.

Who owns what

What stays with you, and what we run.

We are responsible for the ad accounts and the attribution. Strategy, board relationships and GTM decisions stay with you, which is the point of the arrangement.

You own

  • Client relationship, board access, QBRs
  • GTM strategy, ICP definition, positioning
  • Pricing and packaging decisions
  • Sales process, SDR motion, close motion
  • Content strategy, org design, hiring plan
  • Every client-facing strategic call

We run

  • LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads, end to end
  • Creative system: briefs, iteration, documentation
  • Pipeline attribution wiring into the client's CRM
  • Weekly written updates and monthly narrative reports
  • Platform audits, tracking fixes, conversion plumbing
  • The accountable "paid media lead" on the client's team
Questions

What fractional CMOs ask us.

Short answers. If any of these would be a deal-breaker, we'd rather find out on email than on a first call.
Do you ever try to go direct to my clients?

No. Every partnership agreement includes a written no-poach clause: for 24 months after an engagement ends, we will not approach or sign that client without your written agreement. We have never broken it, and it would make no business sense to: the first time we went direct, no fractional CMO would work with us again.

How do you handle it when the client wants to talk to the paid-media person directly?

Depends on the mode. In mode 01 (transparent intro) the client talks to us directly, we're their vendor. In mode 02 (white-label) we join calls as "your paid media lead" using your email and your branding; the client doesn't know we're a separate company unless you tell them.

We don't have an ego about this. Whatever setup makes the client relationship cleanest for you is the setup we run.

What is your capacity? Can you take on my next three clients?

It depends on the month. We keep the book small on purpose, at no more than 15 active clients. On the first call we'll tell you how full we are and when the next slot opens. If the timing doesn't work, we'd rather start the partnership two months later than take on clients we can't serve.

What if my client already has an agency we want to replace?

That happens a lot. We run the 90-day rebuild: switch off what is broken in week 1, rebuild structure and attribution in weeks 2–3, then run and tune. You lead the handover conversation with the outgoing agency, and we stay out of it until it's done. We won't run down the previous agency to the client; it helps nobody.

Which mode do most partnerships start on?

About half start on mode 01 (transparent intro: you introduce us as your paid media partner) and half on mode 02 (white label: we stay invisible under your brand). It is your choice, and it usually depends on how you have presented paid media to your clients so far. Our rates are the same either way: €150 an hour for ads, €200 an hour for consulting, and no media markup.

Can we co-brand or put your logo in our pitch deck?

On mode 01, yes. We'll give you a short line and a logo lockup if it helps you win the pitch ("paid media run by Demandgap, a senior B2B SaaS specialist"). On mode 02 we stay invisible by design, with no logo, no co-branding and nothing that hints at a second vendor. Whichever mode you choose, we stick to it.

What happens if the partnership isn't working?

Either side can exit with 30 days' notice. We finish the current client engagement clean, transfer all account access, write a short handover doc for whoever takes over, and we don't solicit the client afterwards.

First conversation is 30 minutes

Bring us your hardest client account.

Send a short brief on the clients you'd want us to run. On the call we'll tell you whether we fit, which mode we'd suggest and when our next slot opens. If we don't fit, we'll say so and name someone who does.
